Chelsea is a proven leader in San Mateo with a focus on community equity and engagement, most recently serving as President of the San Mateo-Foster City School District’s Governing Board in the final year of her 4-year Trustee term. 

She has held many San Mateo community leadership roles, and in all of them, has proven that she is accessible and that she listens carefully to her constituents.  She is an independent voice not beholden to the status quo and is intent upon creating collaborative solutions to our housing crisis, including new and innovative partnerships to generate affordable and workforce housing. 

Chelsea genuinely cares about San Mateo’s families and residents and continues to pursue projects and initiatives that demonstrate commitment to improving quality of life, equity, stability, safety and health.
